Managing Push Notifications for Napster on iOS
Napster can send push notifications to keep you updated on new music recommendations, AI companion messages, and account alerts. Here's how to manage notifications on iPhone and iPad.
Enabling Notifications During First Launch
When you open Napster for the first time, iOS will ask whether you'd like to receive notifications. Tap Allow to enable them.
Enabling Notifications via iOS Settings
If you previously tapped Don't Allow or want to change your settings:
- Go to your device Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Napster.
- Tap Notifications.
- Toggle Allow Notifications on.
- Choose how notifications should appear: on the Lock Screen, in the Notification Centre, or as Banners.
Managing In-App Notification Preferences
Within the Napster app, you can control which notifications you receive:
- Open the app and go to My Account > Preferences or Settings.
- Look for the Notifications section.
- Toggle specific notification types on or off.
Disabling All Napster Notifications
- Go to Settings > Napster > Notifications.
- Toggle Allow Notifications off.
Disabling notifications won't affect your subscription or access to content. You'll simply stop receiving alerts on your device.
