Napster Learn supports two types of learning content: individual Courses and Curriculums (bundled collections of courses). This article covers how to create a course. For Curriculums, see What are Curriculums and how do I create one?
What is a Course?
A course is a structured learning module made up of individual lessons. Courses are the core unit of content in Napster Learn — each one has an instructor (a Digital Twin or Mentor), lesson content, and optional assessments. Learners interact with the course conversationally: they can pause, ask questions, and go deeper at any point.
Creating a course
- Sign in to learn.napster.ai as an admin.
- In the left sidebar, go to Content → Courses.
- Click New Curriculum or navigate directly to course creation.
- Enter a Course Title (required).
- Add a Description (optional).
- Upload a Cover Image (optional — PNG or JPG, 3:2 ratio recommended).
- Add lessons and content to the course.
- Assign an instructor — a Digital Twin or Mentor from your organization.
- Save the course. It will appear in your Courses list.
Course types
When browsing the courses list, you can filter by:
- All — all courses and curriculums
- Curriculum — bundled multi-course tracks
- Courses — individual course units
- Featured Courses — courses you have pinned to the homepage
Assigning courses to learners
Once a course is created and published, you can assign it to individual users or groups from the Users section or from the course itself. Assigned courses appear in the learner's "Assigned" tab on their home dashboard.
