Setting Up Push Notifications for Napster on Android

Napster can send push notifications to keep you informed about new releases, AI companion messages, and account updates. Here's how to manage them on Android.

Enabling Notifications During Setup

When you first install Napster, Android may ask whether you'd like to allow notifications. Tap Allow to enable them.

Enabling Notifications After Installation

If you previously denied notifications or want to turn them on later:

1. On your Android device, go to Settings.
2. Tap Apps (or Application Manager depending on your device).
3. Find and tap Napster.
4. Tap Notifications.
5. Toggle Allow Notifications on.

Managing Notification Types

Within the Napster app, you may be able to control which types of notifications you receive:

1. Open the Napster app and go to My Account > Preferences or Settings.
2. Look for a Notifications section.
3. Toggle individual notification types on or off (e.g., new music, AI companion updates, billing reminders).

Disabling Notifications

To turn off all Napster notifications:

1. Go to your device Settings > Apps > Napster > Notifications.
2. Toggle Allow Notifications off.

Note

Disabling notifications will not affect your Napster subscription or content. You will simply stop receiving push alerts on your device.
