AI Music Creation on Android
Napster's AI music generation feature lets you create original music tracks directly from your Android device. Whether you want to compose a chill lo-fi beat or an energetic pop track, Napster's AI tools make it possible — no musical training required.
Accessing AI Music Creation
- Open the Napster app and sign in.
- Tap the Create or My Creations section (accessible from the Home screen or bottom navigation).
- Tap Create New Track or the + icon.
Generating a Track
- Describe your music: Enter a text prompt describing the style, mood, or genre. For example: "upbeat jazz with piano and trumpet" or "calm ambient music for studying."
- Select options: Choose additional parameters if available, such as tempo, instruments, or duration.
- Tap Generate to create your track.
Listening and Saving Your Creation
- Preview the generated track before saving.
- Tap Save to add it to your My Creations library.
- You can generate multiple variations from the same prompt.
Credits Required
AI music generation uses Napster Credits. Each generation typically consumes a set number of credits depending on the length and complexity of the track. You can purchase additional credits in the app or through your subscription plan. See Managing In-App Purchases on Android for details.
Tips for Better Results
- Be specific in your prompt — mention genre, mood, instruments, and tempo.
- Experiment with different prompts to explore a variety of styles.
- Save your favourites to your My Creations library to access them anytime.
