Understanding Subscription Plans
Napster offers three subscription tiers: Free, Pro, and Studio. Listening to music, wellness content, and audiobooks is always free. Credits are used for AI chat and AI music generation.
How to view plans:
- Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner.
- Select Pricing, or navigate to My Account → Billing → Pricing.
Free Plan — $0/month
- 100 credits (one-time welcome allocation: 100 minutes of chat or 10 songs)
- Access to thousands of AI Companions
- AI music generation
- Unlimited listening — music, audiobooks, meditation content
- No credit card required
Pro Plan — $19/month
(or discounted annually — save 17%)
- 1,200 credits per month (20 hours of chat or 120 songs/month)
- Everything in the Free plan
- Persistent memory across sessions
- Personal use rights for generated music
Studio Plan — $45/month (Best Value)
(or discounted annually — save 17%)
- 3,000 credits per month (50 hours of chat or 300 songs/month)
- Everything in the Pro plan
- Best value per credit
- Commercial use rights for generated music
Annual vs Monthly billing:
- Toggle between Monthly and Annual pricing on the Pricing page.
- Annual subscriptions save 17% compared to monthly billing.
- One free Napster View device is included with the first annual year subscription (new subscriptions only, not renewals; U.S. only; taxes extra).
How to subscribe:
- Go to Pricing (via avatar menu or My Account → Billing → Pricing).
- Click Subscribe under the Pro or Studio plan.
- Complete the payment process.
