A new station enrolls itself as soon as it is powered on. Claiming it takes about a minute, and the station does not need an account of its own.
- Plug the station in and turn it on. A claim code and QR code appear on its screen.
- In the Fleet Management Portal, go to Stations and click Add station (top right).
- Enter the code or scan the QR code. Read the current code directly off the station's screen, not from an earlier photo.
- Confirm the device. The console shows the model, serial number and hostname that the code belongs to. Check the serial against the box in front of you before you accept it.
- Name the station for its location, for example "Lobby West". The name appears in the console and on the station's own screen.
The station appears in your fleet immediately with the status Awaiting setup, ready for an app to be assigned.
