When playing a course in Napster Learn, pressing Pause and then Play should resume audio from the point where you paused. If audio instead restarts from the beginning, use the steps below.
Known behaviour
A previous bug caused course audio to restart from the beginning after pausing to ask a question. This was fixed. A related issue was subsequently identified where:
- You play a course and press Pause.
- You ask the teacher a question and the teacher answers.
- After answering, the teacher automatically continues speaking the course script.
- The video control shows the Play button (instead of Pause), even though audio is playing.
This icon mismatch between the actual playback state and the control button display has been reported and is being investigated by the development team.
Workaround
If audio restarts unexpectedly from the beginning after a pause:
- Use the progress bar to manually scrub to the correct position in the course.
- If the issue occurs consistently, try refreshing the page and resuming the course.
