ℹ Mac App Store availability varies by region — Napster for Mac is not listed in the Mac App Store in all countries or regions. If the Mac App Store shows the app as unavailable in your country, download it directly from napster.ai/apps instead.
Corporate or IT-managed Macs
If you are using a company-managed Mac and see a red prohibited symbol or a message saying the app cannot be opened, your organization’s IT policy may be restricting installation of apps from outside the Mac App Store. Contact your IT team and ask them to approve Napster (com.napster.mac) as a permitted application. The app can be distributed via MDM once approved.
Setting up your Digital Twin
After signing in, you will see the Digital Twin setup screen. Follow the on-screen steps to record your video and configure your twin. If the setup screen does not appear and the app opens directly to the companion roster, tap the Digital Twin button in the profile menu (top-right) to relaunch the setup flow.
Troubleshooting
Red prohibited symbol on install: Your Mac does not meet the requirements — either it has an Intel processor, or macOS is older than 15.0. Check Apple menu → About This Mac to confirm your chip and OS version.
App says it cannot be opened: Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the Security section, and click Open Anyway next to the Napster entry.
No audio or video in sessions: Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera and Microphone, and make sure Napster has permission to access both. Restart the app after granting permissions.
App not listed in Mac App Store in your region: Download directly from napster.ai/apps. This is the official source and always carries the latest version.
