Power
Napster Station needs a standard AC outlet (100–240 V). No dedicated circuit or PoE is required.
Network connection
A wired Ethernet connection is recommended. Wi-Fi is supported, but a Wi-Fi network with a captive portal (a login page) will stop the station from working, because there is nobody at the device to sign in.
Network access
The station only makes outbound connections. No inbound ports or fixed IP address are needed.

- Port 8883 is optional. The fleet connection falls back to port 443 automatically.
- Use wildcards. Exact hostnames are issued to the station at run time and can't be fixed in advance.
- WebSocket traffic must be allowed. Allowing HTTPS alone is not enough.
- The station's clock must be correct, so don't block Windows time synchronization.
- Exclude these domains from any TLS inspection.
