Can I upload custom Agent images?
You can upload any image with the persona facing the camera and framed in the center, mouth visible (permission needed for real people). Voice cloning is not supported as a self-serve feature - contact partners@napster.com for professional services options.
How is Agent behavior controlled?
- Prompt Editor - set personality, tone, goals.
- Deflection Topics - restrict sensitive areas.
- FAQs - override answers with specific Q&A pairs.
Prompt examples:
| Goal | Prompt Snippet (example) |
|---|---|
| Friendly onboarding | "Respond as a friendly, upbeat guide helping first-time visitors." |
| Professional support | "Maintain a formal, concise style. Prioritize accuracy and compliance." |
What logic does the FAQ use?
- Close match: FAQ-based answer returned.
- Partial match: answer drawn from website content, LLM knowledge, and knowledge base (no specific priority).
How do I add FAQs and responses?
Under the FAQ tab in the UI, you can manually input questions and responses one at a time, or bulk upload them using a CSV file.
How does the Agent respond to inappropriate and/or out-of-scope topics?
Deflection behavior is built in. If triggered, the agent politely declines to respond and redirects.
Are default cards controlled by the Prompt editor?
No. Default cards are AI-generated automatically from the underlying website URL - they are not controlled by the Prompt editor. Adding card instructions to your prompt will not change the default cards shown.
To display specific content at specific moments, use the Content Cards feature instead: add a card with a trigger condition written in plain language (for example, "When the user asks about pricing") and link it to a URL, video, or image. This gives you full control over what appears and when.
If default cards are showing irrelevant content, you can disable them entirely. Note that disabling cards changes the companion layout - with cards off, the companion moves to the center of the screen in the Spaces experience. To keep the companion in a corner position on your website, adjust the iFrame CSS position on the parent page. See Embedding Napster Spaces on Your Website for iFrame positioning details.
I saved changes to my Persona prompt but they reverted the next time I opened the editor. What happened?
This can occur if the browser session expired before changes were fully committed. After saving, verify the change by closing and re-opening the Persona tab before leaving the editor. If changes continue to revert, try saving in a fresh browser session. If the issue persists, contact support with your Space URL.
