During a Companion session you can upload files for your Companion to work with, or open Canvas to create real artifacts — websites, plans, designs, code, and more — that you can edit and use outside the app.
Uploading a file
- Select + on the Companion bar during a session.
- Choose Upload a file.
- Supported formats: common documents (.doc, .docx, .pdf), spreadsheets, images. Drag-and-drop is supported.
- Your Companion will read and work with the file in real time.
Creating a Canvas (Artifact)
- Select + on the Companion bar and choose Canvas.
- Describe what you want to create — a website, a plan, a design, a code snippet, or any other artifact.
- Your Companion generates it in the Canvas panel, where you can review, edit, and refine it.
- Export or copy the artifact to use it outside the app.
What you can create with Canvas
- Websites and landing pages
- Project plans and structured documents
- Designs and wireframes
- Code — functions, scripts, components
- Any other artifact your Companion can generate from your conversation
