Each family member can have their own Napster account, with their own listening history, playlists, and all the features you enjoy on Napster for $14.99/month. When you sign-up or upgrade to a Napster Family Plan you can invite up to 5 other family members from your household to join the plan.

Requirements for Napster Family Plan
● The Parent account holder must meet the minimum age requirement outlined in our Terms and Conditions .
● All Family members must reside in the same household.
● Household verification is required for each family member and must match the billing zip code of the parent account holder.
Subscribe to Napster Family Plan
If you're a new subscriber and you'd like more music for the rest of your family, you can subscribe to the Napster Family Plan with 30 days free trial by following these steps:
● Go to Napster Plans and Pricing page here
● Create your account with your email address and add a valid payment method along with your Zip code and click Sign up.
If you're already an existing Napster Family Plan subscriber, you can also take advantage of our new Napster Family Plan by contacting our Customer Service team and one of our representatives can help you to switch to the new Napster Family Plan subscription.
Note: Upgrading to the Napster Family Plan will nullify the remainder of your current premier trial, so you'll be charged right away.
Adding a Napster Family member
You can add a Napster family member via the My Account page by clicking on the “Edit” option next to “Your Subscription” on the Account Summary page and add up to 5 Family members who reside in the same household.
● Go to My Account page
● Click or tap View/change under Family members on the Account Summary page
● Enter the email of the person you wish to invite. Once the child account is created by using the email invitation, the “ Manage Your Napster Family ” page will show the family members as active.
● If a parent account owner sends an invite to a child account that was created using Facebook which is not registered with Napster, the Child account owner may have trouble logging into their account while trying to join the family plan, however, they can reset the password by clicking on the link titled "Forgot Password" or from this link here and retrieve the password. You can also contact our Customer Support team if you still have trouble retrieving your login information.
Note: Zipcode Verification is required and must match the billing zip code of the parent account holder. If the zip code does not match, the user will not be allowed to sign up and must contact the parent account holder per our Terms and Conditions .
Removing a Napster Family member
You can remove your family members at any time or cancel the pending invite if they haven't accepted your invite. When a child account is removed from the Napster Family Plan by the parent, the account will revert back to Napster free account and if required, the owner of this child account can subscribe to any Napster plan to access playlists, favorites, and offline listening.
● Go to My Account page
● Click or tap View/change under Family members on the Account Summary page
● Click on the Remove button next to the email address of your family member or cancel the invite if they haven't accepted it.
Downgrade your Napster Family Plan
● Log in to your Napster My account page
● Click or tap Change/reactivation Subscription under the Account Summary page
● Switch to Premier monthly or yearly plan
Note: If you’re the parent account holder and downgrade or cancel the membership, ALL the members of the Napster family Plan account will also get canceled, however, the child account owners can resubscribe to any Napster plans to access their playlists, favorites, and their personal listening history. If you’re not the parent account holder, any changes you make will only affect your account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I upgrade or join a Napster Family Plan subscription?
Joining or upgrading to a Napster Family Plan subscription is currently not possible if you have subscribed and are billed through a 3rd party such as Apple, Google Play, or any of our billing partner companies (e.g. Mobile carriers or internet providers). You will be required to first cancel your subscription with them and wait for your service to expire.
If you are a current paying Napster subscriber billed by Napster and wish to join a household member's Family Plan --- you'll need to cancel your current subscription with us, wait for it to expire, and then join the Napster Family Plan by accepting the Family Plan invite sent to you from the account holder.
Is there any minimum age requirement to subscribe to Napster Parent or Child Napster Family Plan?
You must be 13 years or older to subscribe
Why do I get error messages that my account is already in use?
Only one login can be streamed at the same time. If you find that your account is already in use and you’re not logged in elsewhere, reset your password or contact customer service.
Can I subscribe to the Napster Family Plan through iTunes?
You must purchase a Napster Family Plan through the Napster website. If you’re a premier subscriber via iTunes, upgrade via the My Account page and enter a credit card.
How do I connect an existing Napster Premier or Premier Plus one account to the Napster Family Plan?
To join another user’s Family Plan, they may invite you to use your existing login.
What happens to a Family member's content when a member is removed?
Content is retained and the removed family member may open a Premier account using the same login.
Can I create Child accounts for my children who are under 13?
No, you must be 13 years of age to use the service. Please look at Kids Mode on Android or iOS devices.
